Abdul Dahhan

Abdul Graduated from U W Madison, in 1985 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and he’s a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, a member of the ASCE, also a member of ASTM Committee D-4.
Abdul is the Vice President for Engineering at Chicago Testing Laboratory, Inc. (CTL), he manages and directs all engineering activities related to project development and project delivery.
Prior to joining CTL in 2015, Abdul had a 30 year career at The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). Most recent position there, was the Bureau Chief of Materials for IDOT, Region 1, encompassing the 6 Counties of the Chicago Metro Area.
As the Bureau Chief, Abdul Directed and coordinated the functions of the Bureau of Materials. Those functions included Materials evaluation, inspection, testing, and material certification.
Abdul was a member of IDOT Technical Advisory Group for Pavement Design, Materials and Management. Abdul also served on IDOT statewide Technical Working Groups Committees for Aggregate, PCC and HMA.
