Membership Information
ACEC Illinois members are engineering firms of all sizes dedicated to advancing the business and practice of engineering. They serve both public and private clients across Illinois, delivering innovative solutions that strengthen infrastructure, protect the environment, and improve quality of life. To stay at the forefront of the profession, our members engage in the most up-to-date trainings—whether online or in person—ensuring they have the cutting-edge knowledge and skills necessary to excel. ACEC Illinois offers these opportunities to help members remain leaders in an evolving industry.
Member Firm
Member Firms maintain an office in the State of Illinois for the practice of consulting engineering or land surveying. The company must be registered as a Professional Design Firm in Illinois and have principals licensed as PE, SE, or PLS in the State. Dues are calculated based upon the number of employees in the firm. Please contact our office for a dues quote or to discuss in greater detail.
Non-Resident Member Firm
Non-Resident Member Firms are firms who have Illinois licensed PE, SE or PLS on staff but do not maintain an Illinois office. You must be a full member of ACEC National and of their respective ACEC State organization. Dues for this membership option are $2000. Employees can participate on ACEC-IL committees, except as Chair; will not be eligible for board service or have voting rights.
Affiliate Member Firm
Affiliate Member Firms provide professional services (other than consulting engineering and land surveying) or non-professional services that complement the services of Member/Non-Resident Member Firms such as insurance, finance, and accounting, construction, construction management, scientific and technology support, etc. Dues for this membership option are $1150.
