Denis Hogan

Mr. Hogan has over 35 years of experience in the transportation engineering field. His experience includes responsibility for Phase I projects while working for the Illinois Department of Transportation, District 1. Responsibilities include supervision of engineering staff, project management, marketing, client relations, contract negotiations, scheduling, budget monitoring, and QA/QC for Phase I and Phase II roadway and bridge projects. Work includes development of Phase I project reports, intersection design studies (IDS), traffic studies, contract plan preparation, horizontal alignment studies, special provisions, and cost estimates.

Clients worked with include: Illinois Tollway, IDOT, DuPage County DOT, Cook County DOT, McHenry County DOT, Kane County DOT, City of Wood Dale, Village of West Dundee, Village of Plainfield, and the Illinois Capital Development Board.
He currently serves on the ACEC IDOT District 1 committee and chairs the Innovation and Technology and Traffic Signal subcommittees.
