ACEC Illinois Fall Conference 2026
At the ACEC Illinois Fall Conference, attendees can expect a mix of industry insights, professional development sessions, and networking opportunities with engineering leaders from across the state. The event typically features educational presentations on trends affecting engineering firms—such as emerging technologies, workforce development, and business strategy—along with discussions on policy and industry priorities. It also provides a valuable setting to connect with peers, share ideas, and build relationships with professionals and partners in the engineering and infrastructure community.
We’re excited to welcome Joe Maddon as a featured main session speaker at the ACEC-IL Fall Conference!
With a remarkable 31-year Major League Baseball career, Joe managed the Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs, and Los Angeles Angels — leading the Rays to their first American League pennant in 2008 and guiding the Cubs to their historic 2016 World Series championship.
But Joe’s impact extends far beyond the baseball field. Known for his authenticity, creativity, and unconventional approach to leadership, he brings a perspective shaped by decades of leading teams, navigating challenges, building culture, and bringing people together.
