Presenter:

Lama Abufares is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, working with Professor Imad Al-Qadi in the area of transportation infrastructure. Her research focuses on pavement evaluation and monitoring, with an emphasis on nondestructive testing methods such as ground-penetrating radar. She has contributed to several research projects sponsored by the FAA, FHWA, and IDOT.
