From Submission to Selection: Navigating IDOT Statements of Interest

Join ACEC Illinois and the Illinois Department of Transportation for a practical seminar focused on preparing stronger, more effective Statements of Interest. Jenni LeSuere, Consultant Services Unit Chief in IDOT’s Bureau of Design and Environment, and IDOT Regional Engineer Kensil Garnett will discuss frequently asked questions, common submission errors, recent filing trends and timing, and how SOIs are evaluated at both the district and Springfield selection committee levels.

Moderated by Libby Braband of LDB Consulting, the session will also highlight findings from ACEC Illinois’ recent SOI survey and provide attendees with practical guidance to strengthen future submissions.
