IDNR/ACOE Training

This will be a full day class that will focus the morning session on IL Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Floodway Permits and an afternoon session focused on Army Corp of Engineers/IL Environmental Protection Agency 404/401/408 Permit process.

Recently, processing of both permits has gone through major revisions and this class will be a great opportunity to relay to industry the new requirements.

Key speakers will include IDOT district staff, consultant firms, and US Army Corp of Engineers (ACOE). Detailed examples of various size projects will be given from numerous perspectives including both the consultants who prepare the permits alongside IDOT/ACOE staff who review and process the permit.

This class will significantly aid industry in the preparation of future permits and is an essential class (almost mandatory) for all engineers who prepare either of these permits.
